Founded by Jason & Tara Cranford Teague, The CranfordTeague Group brings 20 years of design leadership and experience to a wide array of clients.

Tara loves helping people collaborate. She has been a Servant Leader for over 15 years, working in our community in diverse ways including education, hospitality, parks & recreation, and connecting people who can be of help to one another. She has served 4 years as PTA president in elementary and high-schools, and is currently co-chair of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, which serves the Reston Association Board. In 2016, she led the "Parenting Digital Natives" meet-up at SXSW.

Jason loves helping people communicate. He designed the first web based magazine —  Computer Mediated Communications — in 1994 and has been at the forefront of digital communication innovation ever since. He wrote the first book for designers on Cascading Style Sheets in 1996, was the lead designer on WebMD when it launched in 1998, built the first online interactive comic book reader in 2006, and wrote the first book on modern web typography in 2009.

Jason has been a top rated speaker at many Modev conferences and events including our most recent Code Writers Workshops. He believes that our ideas are meant to be shared — a trait that will make any attendee, co-worker, company and industry all the better.
